This course can be run on demand across the country or delivered on premises at your workplace
The content has been specifically structured to cover strategies and a straightforward step by step process for assessing and managing all workplace risk factors.
It’s not always possible to eliminate all risk; however you are required to protect people as far as ‘reasonably practical’.
This training course is arranged to provide employees/workers with proactive and practical techniques to examine what, in your area of work, could cause harm, injury or ill health to people. Through this assessment decisions can be made as to whether enough precaution has been taken and or what more should be done to prevent harm and to further implement reasonable control measures.
On successful completion of this course learners will be credited with unit standard 30265 (Level 3 Credits 4) Health & Safety risk assessment
This course can provide a pathway to a full NZ Certificate in Workplace Health & Safety Practice – Level 3
